Official Bugfix for PC DVR systems

Step 1:

There are two possible reasons this error message will be displayed:

  • First is a problem with a recent Windows Update
  • Second possibility is on of the chips on the Capture Card have gone bad
  • Follow the steps below to determine if it is a fixable software issue.

Step 2:   Download bsubfree.exe from our website -Here-
and save it to your C drive folder. It must be placed here in the root directory for the patch to work.

    Step 3:

Navigate to My Computer --> C --> Program Files and locate your
DVR folder. Depending upon the Year and Model of your
Capture Card, this can be called one of the following:
(ASAP Tech, DVR, Park, TAYAMA, XICCTV, or XIDVR)

There will be a single folder with the name of your DVR software Model.
Open up this file, and you should see the following:

    Step 4:

Copy the file bsub.dll and Paste it into the C drive.

    Step 5:

Open the Run option under Start

    Type: cmd
    Then hit OK.

Step 6:   Under the Command Prompt, type: cd\

Step 7:   Now type the following: bsubfree bsub.dll

When it is finished, you will see the message: protect free...

You can now close the Command Prompt.

Step 8:   Now copy the modified bsub.dll in the C drive.

    Step 9:

Navigate back to the dvr folder you originally copied bsub.dll from (see Step 2), Right-Click, and choose Paste.

    Step 10:

After using the Paste command, it will prompt you with the following message:

    Click Yes.

    Step 11:

You now should be able to run your Tayama Server without issue.

If you are still having issues with getting the software to load/run properly or you are still getting the same message, there may be something wrong with the capture card itself, and should be sent in for repair.

If the software seems to run fine for about a minute, and then shuts down by itself or reboots, there is definately a problem with the capture card chipset.
